Timeless Journeys

A partnership between Humanities Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) created “Timeless Journeys,” a program where UNI students work with seniors at Western Home Communities using historical images to create stories.

Through “Creative Care,” students engage older adults, including those with dementia, in collaborative storytelling. The project culminates in an original production showcasing intergenerational teamwork. A documentary was created in 2024 to generate financial support and collaborators as well.
