Heather Plucar serves as Humanities Iowa’s Executive Director. Plucar joins this role after working for Humanities Iowa for 13 years in various grant and finance roles. Prior to joining Humanities Iowa, Plucar received
her bachelor’s degree in psychology and public relations from Coe College and worked in banking before transitioning to nonprofit service.
