Speakers Bureau Presents: Where’s Floppy? Celebrating an Iowa Television Icon

On March 30, 2026 at 1 p.m., the City of Indianola Parks & Recreation welcomes historian and broadcaster Jeff Stein for a nostalgic look back at The Floppy Show, the beloved Iowa children’s television program that ran from 1957 to 1987. Featuring stories, photos, and favorite moments from his book The Floppy Show, Stein highlights the humor, charm, and cultural impact of ventriloquist Duane Ellett and his famous sidekick. This program brings to life a cherished piece of Iowa’s entertainment history.
